I go to the places people raise an eyebrow at: Senegal, Bangladesh, Jordan. Usually on my own, usually on a budget, and always with a camera. Then I come back and tell you the honest version: what it cost, whether I felt safe, what I'd do differently.

There is a whole genre of travel content that exists to make you feel behind. Mine doesn't. No fake infinity pools, no "quit your job" nonsense. Just solo travel realness, the food, the culture, and the ethics of actually going somewhere.
